When Caribbean Sailing Yachts (CSY) folded in 1981, the molds and some of the unsold inventory were purchased by John Coats and his brother to form Antigua Yachts. The CSY 44 became the ANTIGUA 44. They also built the ANTIUA 53 which was based on the MORGAN OI 51.
